Susan Chippendale is a communication and analytics professional with over 25 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector at a global level focusing on strategic communication, brand management, donor engagement and communication analytics to measure the impacts of brand and operational communication activities beyond basic metrics. Working with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (ICRC) in contexts of conflicts and disasters, Susan has developed niche expertise in detecting, analyzing and developing strategies and systems to manage and respond to the risks associated with harmful narratives, misinformation and disinformation.
Susan has a Bachelors’ Degree with majors in Politics and Business Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne; a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Data Science and Management from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland; an MBA Innovation and Change from York St John University UK and has completed the UC Berkeley Executive Learning Program in Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications.
